Training & Capacity Development Institute
Established in 1988, the Training and Capacity Building Institute provides Specialized training programmes to develop the skills and expertise of professionals working in financial, monetary, economic, and statistical institutions across member countries, contributing to improved institutional performance and stronger technical capabilities.
What We Do
The Training and Capacity Building Institute works to strengthen the technical knowledge and skills of government officials in member countries, enhancing their ability to formulate and implement economic policies and assess their impact. The Institute offers specialized training programmes tailored to the needs and priorities of member countries, in collaboration with regional and international partner institutions.

The Institute designs its training courses to address the needs and priorities of member countries, delivering them both in person and online, alongside specialized seminars and workshops. It draws on the expertise of AMF specialists and regional and international institutions to develop and deliver training content, supporting skills development and the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
